Ok, lascio casa mia con uno zaino pesante e ben attrezzato.
The plan is 3 days trekking on Genoa hills and mountains following the fortification tour.
This tour, really, could take up to six days if properly done, I didn't have that much time, so I decided for a small part.
The map says to follow a red ring signed path, so I am ready, off to go!
After an hour on this beautiful path, crossing a marvellous forest I realised that the red ring sign has changed in three mini red circles...ouch, did I got lost in less than 2 hours? I was well aware, to be honest , on where I was, but still why the signs have changed?
Thinking of the map I saw at the beginning, time to reach the first fort was around 2,30 hrs, and now is more or less three hours that I am walkin, passing by the Fortification wall without find any entrance...got it! I missed the deviation and I am now on a path which goes around the fortification . .and this is bloody massive! Once finally arrived I decided to look around and find a place to stay overnight with my brand new tent.
L'idea è quella di percorrere il Tour dei forti di Genova in trekking per 3 giorni.
Il tuor può durare fino a 6 giorni se fatto per bene, ma io non avevo tutto questo tempo a disposizione, quindi ne ho pecorso solo una parte.
La mappa all'inizio del percorso dice si seguire il sentiero tracciato con un cerchio rosso,quindi sono pronto per partire.
Dopo circa un' ora, attraversando un bosco splendido, mi rendo conto che i segni sono cambiati, ora il simbolo sul sentiero è formato da 3 pallini rossi...mi sarò mica perso dopo nemmeno due ore di cammino.
Sapevo bene dove mi trovavo, ma per quale strano motivo il segno è cambiato???
Ho pensato a quello che diceva la mappa all'inizio, tempo di percorrenza previsto circa 2.30 ore. Sono ormai 3 ore che cammino, mi trovo all'esterno delle mura del forte, ma di un ingresso nemmeno l'ombra. Ho capito! Mi sono perso la deviazione ed il sentiero che sto seguendo gira intorno al forte...ed è enorme!
Una volta arrivato, esausto, cerco un posticino dove piantare la mia tenda.
I do need some relax now, a sign leading to a local little cute restaurant inspired me ... aw man, the local beer was just awesome.
A couple of wild boars crossing the street make me feel in the middle of nothing even tho there were a lot of people around... by the way, I came back to my tent to have a lovely sandwiches dinner and a bottle of red wine.
In the meantime fog is coming up and the atmosphere got really cool.

Ho bisogno di un pochino di relax e l'insegna di un' osteria attira la mia attenzione...la birra locale offerta era semplicemente fantastica!
Un paio di cinghiali attraversano la strada, mi sento nel mezzo nel nulla nonostante ci sia parecchia gente in giro.
Non appena tornato alla tenda, ho cenato con un paio di panini ed una bottiglia di vino rosso; mentre la nebbia iniziava a salire, l'atmosfera è diventata davvero magica.

I decided to spent the second night in a camping on the hill, a shower was well needed 😅.
I left my backpack in the tent and I walked down to the seaside...
Ho deciso per la seconda notte di appoggiarmi ad un campeggio, necessitavo di una doccia 😅.
Lasciato lo zaino nella tenda, scendo in riva al mare...
Once Back To The camping I had a nice pizza with local pesto, couple of beers, and a very nice sleep.
Tornato al camping, ho mangiato una buona pizza al pesto, bevuto un paio di birre ed ho dormito alla grande!

You know, sometimes you just need some time for yourself, to feel again you are alive, nothing better than a tent and a backpack to do so.
A volte serve solo ritagliarsi del tempo per se stessi, per sentirsi nuovamente vivi, non c'è soluzione migliore che prendere tenda e zaino e partire.
